Yesterday we had elections in the Netherlands. My home country voted to have a populist in charge.
I suppose this is what we tend to do, when we are uncomfortable, we simply want a strong man in charge, even if he is a rascist, with little to no respect for the constitution. It’s sad and I deeply want to believe that in the end, kindness will prevail over the fist.
